Hyderabad now chases neon cafes and fusion plates. Uday never did. Tucked off Hanuman Tekdi Road, easy to miss, impossible for regulars to forget — it is part of the city's memory.
It began with Chinese at a time that was rare for Hyderabad, then added North Indian as appetites shifted and the response was overwhelming. Six decades later the compact, no-frills room still runs on consistency: good portions, quick comfort, and a second-generation family hand.
